Nodaddyball.com is a website and phone app for the travel parent. It allows the opportunity to rate Youth Sports programs thereby educating the public about their options. A secondary purpose is to create a database of parent experiences with the phenomenon of “daddy ball” – those moments where a player is elevated not based on the merits of performance but arguably based upon the coach’s relationship to the player or their family.
This database will be maintained and its information studied with an aim towards understanding the breadth of the problem and to ultimately propose solutions. It is not a forum to attack a coach. Instead, think of it as a pillow to scream into. Those screams are heard by the database for future study and analysis.
